Here is a recent story that I shared in our quarterly update to our supporters:
It was very moving to hear one of the men share how his experience of unemployment had forced him to depend on God more. With tears in his eyes he explained how he and his family had been blown away by the support they had received from the Church community especially in spiritual and physical ways. Afterwards we prayed and for the very first time ever, this man prayed aloud with tears unashamedly rolling down his checks praising and thanking God for the way he had provided. No eye was dry that morning.
It is not often in ministry that we get to see someone totally broken over the love of God and the saints.
This was a very special morning that will stay close to my heart for a very long time.
I hope to share further encouraging stories from the frontline of ministry in the future…
