Building for Growth

Imagine standing with a friend who has just given their life to Christ.  You are standing on the paved area outside our new foyer.  With your arm around their shoulder you say, "I wrote your name on one of these pavers and have been praying for you ever since.  I've been praying God would transform you into a living stone ... I've been praying you would come to know Jesus Christ.  I did this because you matter to me and, more importantly, to Jesus. It is so good to know you are now a Christ-follower and a member of our Church."

I can see hundreds of people doing this.  In fact, I can see 1,000 of us doing this.  What a sight it would be!  People being raised from the dead and transformed into living stones in the living temple of God.

Our foyer project will enable us to provide space for more people, not only on Sundays, but also for ministries we offer during the week.  For example, KidsConnect, WOW (Women of the Word), PTC, Diploma of Theology, Children's ministry, Youth ministry, Young Adult ministry and more!

What a joy it is to be part of a Church that is interested in people far from God ... whether they be across the world or across the street.  It is great to know we are keen to reach all people.  Building the foyer will help us do both. More people won to Christ here means more people to send there ... and to fund the sending there.

Well, there are 5,000 pavers to be laid in the forecourt.  For each $100 that you donate, you will be able to write the name of an unsaved friend on the bottom of a paver.  By donating to the foyer you will help us reach more people for Jesus.

We are not seeking equal giving ... rather we want to encourage equal sacrifice.  There are a few people who cannot buy a whole paver ... but they can buy part of one!  There are many among us who can buy 5, 10 or more pavers.  All contrib-
utions are vital because it means when the project is completed everyone will be able to walk in and say "I contributed to this!"

For example, if each individual (man, woman and child) donated pavers with the names of 5 unsaved friends we would have sufficient funds to build the foyer.

After more than 25 years of hiring tents for our Christmas services ... it is time to build!

You can purchase pavers by either ...

• Phoning or e-mailing the Church Office (8858 1111) and placing an order.
• Filling in a MY GIFT envelope (they are in the book rests in the church seats) and placing it in the offertory bag on Sunday.
• Completing the MY CONTRIBUTION to our foyer section on the Mountain- Moving Faith form handed out in Church.  Click here if you would like to download a form.
• Placing cash/cheque, in an envelope marked FOYER, into the offertory bag on Sunday. 

ALL CONTRIBUTIONS OVER $2 ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.  Please ensure you provide your name, address and contact details so we can produce your tax-deductible receipt.  Please join us in this exciting project.
